Simple prayers

I prayed 

Most nights on my knees

Asking that others remain protected and guided 

Happy and safe

Now I simply pray

That what is meant to harm me never finds me

And that I be allowed to forget

Everyone who has forgotten me

A simple prayer for my own peace.
